Many people look into the mirror and are unhappy with who they see. They stare at the face before them and wish for something more, or better.
If this is you, then STOP NOW!
Dreaming will get you no where. Wishing will get you real close to no where. No one on this earth has gotten anything they wanted by wishing for it, regardless what Disney may say.
If you don't like something about yourself, then fix it.
I'm not telling you to go get plastic surgery. Please don't confuse that.
If you want to be smarter, pick a topic you want to know, and learn it.
If you want to be more popular, figure out what makes people popular and do it.
If you don't wake up every morning happy with who you are...
there is no way you can take positive steps towards any goal you have.
Your dreams will never come true, and your goals will always be far from you if these thoughts linger in your mind. I can't imagine what giving up on a dream would feel like, I guess its the exact opposite of accomplishing it.
There are people in this world who will stop at nothing to tear you down.
Breaking your confidence will builds theirs. This mindset is working to tear you down, brick by brick.
Inner confidence is all you need to battle this with. It wins that battle every time.
But if you don't love who you are then you do not have inner confidence.
Inner confidence is all about how you view yourself. Your inner self is reflected in everything you do, how you speak, how you dress, how you look, how you communicate with everyone, everything you do.
Set some goals for yourself. Maybe you want to learn more, maybe you want to work on your physical fitness, whiter teeth, whatever it is you don't like.
Now when you look at your self, and I mean truly look at exactly who you are, you will see what you are working on. You will see progress. That progress will feel great.
Imagine waking up in a good mood, looking forward to the day in front of you, knowing that you will reach your goal soon. Knowing that you will become the person you used to dream about.
Now you can laugh at those bottom feeders!
One day you will reach your goal. Now what? You set another goal. You work on it everyday, little by little. After that one is done, start another one. Maybe this time you want a new Car? Or a something else that's been on your wish list. Now you can chase your dream with confidence. Take a few seconds and think about where you will be in 6 months. Then a year. Five years?
Do you know how to get these things? Not by dreaming.
